Our mission: Order instead of chaos in the warehouse
From idea to solution
Almacén OS started in 2013 as an Excel sheet at Münster GmbH in Germany. Staff were searching for materials, orders were placed for items already on the shelf, and customers waited. The sheet got a material register and printed labels, became a web app in 2017, and is now the software more than 600 companies use.
The goal has not changed: a company with a workshop, a warehouse or service vans should be able to keep track of materials, tools and keys without an IT project. Most of what has been added since 2013 was added because a customer asked for it.
Who is behind Almacén OS
Behind Almacén OS (known as "Lager im Griff" in Germany) is Steffen Grell with a team of developers in Bonn. The software is built in Germany, runs on servers in Germany and is certified by BITMi as "Software Made in Germany".
We answer support emails ourselves, within 24 hours, and support stays free after the trial. If a feature is missing, we tell you whether we can build it, and when.
Customers range from three-person workshops to industrial groups and hospitals, in Norway, Germany and Spain.
Our story — from idea to today
What drives us
A workshop rarely loses money on big mistakes. It loses it on ten minutes of searching, twenty times a day, and on the drill that was bought because nobody knew there was one in the van. Almacén OS exists to remove those minutes: every withdrawal, loan and move is recorded where it happens, on the phone, by the person doing it.
Why Almacén OS?
Most inventory systems are built for wholesalers and manufacturers with their own IT department. Almacén OS is built for the company where the owner sets it up in a morning. No implementation project, no consultants, and pricing starts at 289 € per year for 1 to 3 users.
Our promise
If Almacén OS makes your working day more complicated, we have built it wrong. Write to us and we will fix it. You can export all your data and cancel at any time, with no minimum term.
