From idea to solution

It all started with a simple but decisive observation: in many companies, valuable time is lost every day because materials, tools, or spare parts cannot be found. Employees search, duplicate orders are placed, customers have to wait — and in the end, that costs time, nerves, and money.

Our mission at Almacén OS is to change exactly that. We believe that every company — whether a workshop, a trade business, or a service company — should be able to organize its warehouse as simply as possible. That's why we developed software that creates order, brings clarity, and increases productivity.

Who is behind Almacén OS

Behind Almacén OS (known as "Lager im Griff" in Germany) is Steffen Grell together with a team of developers and industry professionals. We combine technical expertise with real-world experience.

Our goal: develop digital tools that help immediately — without lengthy training, without complicated implementation projects, but directly ready to use.

We listen, understand the problems of our customers, and turn them into solutions within our software. Thus, Almacén OS is more than a product — it's a partner for companies that finally want to get their warehouse in order.

First Excel solution
Together with Münster GmbH, a first Excel solution is created to keep the warehouse under control, with material registration and printed labels.
2016
Network expansion
Relocation to Bonn and new warehouse projects through the BNI business network.
2017
First web version
First web version as an alternative to the Excel solution.
2018
QR codes and RFID
Second web version with QR code generation and RFID support.
2019
Mobile apps
Third web version based on Symfony/Angular, first mobile apps and specialized versions.
2020
Completely redesigned version
Fourth version completely redesigned in collaboration with SensioLabs Deutschland GmbH and qupaya technologies GmbH.
2022
New integrations
Implementation of various interfaces with suppliers and other software systems.
2023
New partnerships
Beginning of close collaboration with gridscale GmbH for hosting, GC group and Pietsch IT GmbH for data protection.

Update to modern web technologies and launch of the Spanish market.
